My GMT developed a super stiff bezel over the years. What fixed it? Just a good cleaning. I ran it under very warm running water from the faucet and rubbed liquid hand soap all over it, turning the bezel back and forth, all the way around and back, etc. That loosened it up, and I finished with a good rinse and a dry with a soft cloth. Good as new. Now for my question: Is it normal that the bezel can't be rotated when the crown is fully screwed down? It presses against the bezel in that position. In a sense that would make sense, preventing accidental rotation. Remove the whole bezel, pop out the insert, replace it in to the bezel, press bezel back onto the watch. It takes some time to get the insert lined up correctly in the bezel, and you may have to repeat the process until you get it right. It is fairly simple, and you will be rewarded.
